Founded in 1999, Pass by Bar is Beijing’s first bar with a back-packing theme. Located in a traditional house in Dongcheng’s Nan Luo Gu Xiang, it can seat about 90 people. Its food is Italian-influenced, and its specialties are pizzas, especially its Hutong style pizza with lamb and cheese. Additionally, because many of Pass by Bar’s customers are European, the bar also provides high quality coffee. The relaxed atmosphere of this venue attracts customers from all over the world. Pass by Bar is open from 9:30 AM to 2:00 AM.
Hutong pizza: lamb-stick taste mixed with cheese and pizza; 40 RMB (10 inch), 50 RMB (12 inch). Bruschetta: bread, tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and olive oil; 25 RMB. Samosa: appetizer from Nepal, dumpling with curie and potato; 28 RMB.
