The French restaurant Bleu Marine was opened in 1998 by Celine Shen.
At that time Bleu Marine was one of the few Western restaurants in Beijing and the opening become a big event in the local news and among the foreign people living in Beijing
The restaurant managed to introduce and keep a very high level of the French cuisine.
Bleu Marine is among a lot of delicious dishes famous and well known for the: Grill Tenderloin Steak with Three Pepper Sauce – in 2005 was sold around 14.500 of these steaks………..That tells something about the quality.
A lot of the people who came for the opening in 1998, are still faithful clients and many are coming weekly to enjoy the food and the relaxing atmosphere and have become close friends of the house.
